Standing in the Gap Ministries was set up in 1984 as a directive of God to intercede for America. For over 15 years, intercessors and I met at my home and prayed, and during that time, the Lord again spoke to me about going on the radio to preach the uncompromising word of God.

A few years later, God told me to write a book about my experiences with His angels. Finally in 2001 it was published and was well received in Lexington and countries where it was sent. We republished it in 2008 and it is selling extremely well on Amazon.com. We ordained two ministers; one in Pakistan was in New York last year and they are doing well. Foreign ministries liken me to the Apostle Paul for all my experiences with God and angels. The book has been shared with ministries in over 60 countries, which has encouraged them.

I am also an artist who has had great responses to the art exhibits, where I attempt to show God in all His glory in landscapes. All my work goes to fund the ministry of Standing in the Gap. We are debt free.

I have traveled from Alaska and Paris, France preaching the full gospel message. God has really blessed those meetings. When invited, I speak in churches or meetings telling about God’s love and mercy. I have been faithful to that calling and God has blessed me in more ways than I can count.

This We Believe

• We Believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God without error as originally written.
• There is one true and living God and that He is triune: three persons, but still one God. We believe He is eternal, perfectly just, holy, all powerful, all present, and all knowing.
• God walked among men in the person of Jesus Christ, His son, the only Saviour for men's souls.
• Jesus Christ is all God and all man. As God, He was sinless and as a man He could die for sinner's sins.
• All men, with the exception of Christ, are sinners by birth, by choice, and by practice; and left to themselves will die in their sins.
• Sinful mankind can be saved and made fit for heaven only through the righteousness of Jesus Christ which is imputed (put on one's account) at the time of the conversion which is wrought by the Holy Spirit of God in the heart. Eternal life is God's gift to needy men and depends on God's grace from beginning to end.
• A literal heaven where God's throne is and a literal hell where God's mercy is not.
• The devil, all fallen angels (demons), and all sinners who die in their sins will make the "lake of fire" their eternal home.
• Jesus Christ began His kind of church while on the earth and promised her perpetual succession. Jesus gave His church two ordinances to exercise until He returns for her. They are water baptism and the Lord's Supper. The main task of the Lord's church is to 1) get the gospel message of Jesus Christ into all the world, 2) baptize the converts, 3) teach them the doctrines of the Bible and how to live.
• We believe that Grace Baptist Church of Georgetown, Kentucky is of like faith and practice of the first church Jesus started.
• People are saved by grace through faith, without works, but that we are saved unto a life of good works
